Project Description

Far from the stereotypes, the migrant ”cleaning ladies” in Athens become the real and ideal protagonists of an international documentary theatre piece.

Who cleans our cities? In Athens, a duo of young artists, Anestis Azas and Prodromos Tsinikoris, conducted an inquiry and met immigrant women coming from Africa, Asia, and former USSR countries. These women nourishes this documentary theatre piece that doesn’t hesitate to disrupt the ideology of cleanliness.
