VIGIL

Two men, a Pakistani migrant worker and a Greek caretaker find themselves trapped in the strawberry fields of Southern Greece, where migrants work as modern slaves. A migrants’ uprising will push the two men to extreme ends, forcing them to pick sides in order to survive.



An action drama about the clash between two cultures. Inspired by the “Manolada – Bloody strawberries case”, one of the most important judicial cases of racist violence in contemporary Greece that resulted in the severe injury of 28 Pakistani migrants.
