SYNOPSIS
Elias, a man his thirties, returns to his hometown, Eleusina – the main shipyard site in Greece – with his body full of tattoos. He has just been released from jail but he pretends he has been away sailing all those years. Upon his return, Elias starts using his father’s sailing stories to charm and convince a group of misfits to the mission of building a ship. As the dream of the construction becomes tangible, Elias will have to face his own lies and inabilities.
A sea-set black drama about failure and the torment that hope brings. Ιnspired by a short narrative poem by the famous Greek poet / sailor Nikos Kavvadias.
